Privacy Policy_

Last updated May 2026. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

We collect your name, email address, and password (hashed — never stored in plain text) when you create an account. We collect your app or website submission details including app name, description, category, and GitHub repository URL. We collect payment information through Stripe — we never store your card details directly. We collect build logs and status updates related to your submissions.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your source code beyond what is necessary to build your project. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not track you across other websites. We do not use your data to train AI models.

How we use your data

We use your email to send account confirmations, build status updates, and important service notifications. We use your GitHub repository URL to clone and build your project. We use your payment information to process subscription and launch fee charges through Stripe. We use your submission details to create your App Store listing and privacy policy page.

Third party services

We use Supabase for database and authentication. We use Stripe for payment processing. We use Cloudflare for website hosting and DNS. We use GitHub for code storage and build automation. We use Apple's App Store Connect API for app submissions. Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Build logs are retained for 30 days. If you delete your account we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Your GitHub repository is not retained — we clone it only for the duration of a build.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may request a copy of your data or request deletion by emailing legal@flick.company. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never touches our servers. We use Row Level Security on our database to ensure users can only access their own data.

Children

Flick Engineering services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13 please contact legal@flick.company immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
